There was a time not long ago that EVERYONE had a subscription to Comcast, Dish, or Direct TV. That may be changing. Maybe you want to re-watch Game of Thrones or maybe some Bloomberg. You can watch them both on AppleTV+. Maybe the Lion King and Aladdin are your thing. Disney+ may me the only place for that soon. Both services are coming soon. Here’s what we know.
Disney+
Disney+ is planned for November 12th. So far it has been confirmed for Roku devices and PlayStation 4 as well as tablets and mobile devices. If you’re shopping for a new TV then you’re in luck as Disney+ will also be on select Smart TV’s. Disney+ is eventually planned for other platforms including Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, and your favorite browser.
AppleTV+
AppleTV+ is planned for November 1st. If you have an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV, you already have the Apple TV app — the ultimate way to watch Apple TV+. You'll also find the Apple TV app on select Samsung smart TVs.
You will note...neither service is available on Comcast.
